Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Stageflow.
Getting Started
Stageflow turns your product images into stunning lifestyle mockups. Upload your product, describe a scene, and download—no camera, props, or editing skills needed.
Just three steps: Upload your product image, pick a scene from our library (or describe your own), and hit generate. Your mockup is ready to download in seconds.
Stageflow works great for mugs, candles, art prints, jewelry, tote bags, stickers, t-shirt designs, packaging, and most physical products. If you can photograph it, we can create mockups for it.
Nope! If you can upload a photo and click a button, you're good to go.
Yes! You can upload up to 3 images at once. This lets you do things like: swap your design into an existing mockup you love, upload a specific product blank (like a t-shirt style) along with your design, or combine elements like a frame, your art, and a room setting. The more context you give Stageflow, the better your results.
Image Quality & Results
They're designed to look professional and realistic—most of our users upload them directly to their Etsy listings. Paid plans include HD downloads that meet Etsy's image requirements.
Most of the time, yes—the results look like real product photography. That said, AI isn't perfect. Occasionally you might get an odd result where something looks a bit off. If that happens, just generate again. Each result is unique, and a quick tweak to your description usually does the trick.
It happens! Just like a real photoshoot, not every shot is a keeper. The good news is generating again only takes a few seconds. Try tweaking your scene description or picking a different scene from our library.
This can happen with unusual product shapes or angles. A few things to try: use a cleaner product image with a simple background, pick a different scene, or just regenerate—the next result is often much better.
PNG, JPG, and WebP all work great.
Free plan downloads are standard resolution. Creator and Studio plans include HD downloads that work perfectly for Etsy listings and print use.
Credits & Pricing
Each mockup you generate uses 1 credit. Downloading, saving, and cropping are all free—you're only charged when you generate something new.
You get 10 credits to try Stageflow, completely free. No credit card needed. That's 10 mockups to see if it's a good fit for your shop.
You can upgrade to a paid plan for more monthly credits, or grab a one-time credit pack if you just need a few more. Paid plans also include rollover, so unused credits don't go to waste.
Purchased credits (top-ups) never expire. Subscription credits last for your billing period, and up to 50% of what you don't use rolls over to the next month.
Your subscription and rollover credits will be removed when the subscription ends. Any credits you've purchased separately stay in your account forever. Just a heads up—you won't get a fresh batch of free credits, since those are only for new accounts.
HD downloads are a paid plan perk, so new images on the Free plan will be standard resolution. But any HD images you already generated while subscribed? Those are still yours to download anytime. If you need HD versions of something, just make sure to generate them before your subscription ends.
We don't offer refunds on subscriptions or credit purchases since the credits go toward generating images. That's why we have the free plan—so you can try it out and make sure it works for you before paying anything.
Your Shop & Etsy
Absolutely—that's exactly what Stageflow is built for. The images you create are yours to use however you want: Etsy, social media, your website, wherever.
Yes! You have full rights to use your mockups for commercial purposes, including selling products on Etsy or any other platform.
Nope. Every mockup is uniquely generated based on your product and scene. Even if two sellers use the same scene description, they'll get different results.
Technical Questions
That's intentional! Stageflow creates unique variations so you can generate a few options and pick your favorite. If you want more consistency, try being more specific in your description.
AI is good at following instructions, but it's not perfect. Complex or very detailed requests sometimes get interpreted a bit differently. If that happens, try simplifying your description or focusing on the key details. Regenerating usually gets you closer to what you had in mind.
You can generate as many as your credits allow. No daily limits, no speed restrictions.
Account
Head to your Account Settings and click "Manage Subscription" to open the billing portal. You can cancel there, and you'll keep your plan benefits until the end of your current billing period.
In your Account Settings, look under the Security section. You can update either one there. For email changes, you'll get confirmation links at both your old and new addresses.
Visit the Pricing page and pick the plan you want. Upgrades happen right away—you'll be charged a prorated amount and get your new credits immediately. Downgrades kick in at the end of your billing period, so you keep your current plan until then.
Your subscription and rollover credits will be removed when the subscription ends. Any credits you purchased separately stick around forever.
Yes. In Account Settings, scroll down to the Danger Zone. Deleting your account permanently removes all your projects, images, credits, and data. It can't be undone, so make sure you're certain.
